Eviction day for a homeowner in Washington state
Julio faces eviction today. He bought his home at the height of the market for $285,000 using an ARM loan. His payment started at $1,400 at escalated to $2,600! The bank would not help him.
While mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac announced last month they would temporarily halt foreclosures and evictions from Thanksgiving to Jan. 9, the moratorium is likely to affect only a small percentage of homeowners.
